Zumba® Class Tips

There are no strict rules in Zumba!

Just come, get moving, laugh a little, sweat a lot,

have a great time, & come back to do it all again!

 

What should I bring to class?
Most importantly bring your enthusiasm and willingness to HAVE FUN!

Bring plenty of water and dress comfortably in workout type clothing and supportive sneakers. You may also want to bring a towel...  you will sweat.
 

 

I don't know how to dance - can I still take a Zumba® class?
Absolutely!  - No experience is necessary.

The moves are simple enough to pick up, especially if you come regularly.
 

 

What type of people attend your Zumba® classes?
All ages, shapes, sizes, & fitness levels.

Remember that you can move as fast or slow as you feel is right for you.

Don't worry about counting steps or looking the same as the person next to you, they may have attended many sessions  - JUST HAVE FUN!
If you need to take a break - take a break & drink plenty of water

Listen to your body & exercise within your comfort zone!

 

How many calories can I burn during Zumba®?
That is totally up to you.  The harder you work the more you burn.

You may burn between 500-800 calories during a 1 hour Zumba® session.
